The Ottawa Senators are doing their best to make the deal for Linus Ullmark, and solidify their goaltending for the future.

The 2022-2023 former Vezina Trophy winner is a highly after piece and could help his next team make the playoffs, or even win a Stanley Cup.

Brady or no deal

It's been reported that teams such as the New Jersey Devils, Los Angeles Kings, and the Ottawa Senators have been interested in Ullmark.

With Darcy Kuemper and Jacob Markstrom off the board, it appears the Senators will continue the push to make a deal with GM Don Sweeney and the Boston Bruins.

It's been said that the Senators would send Jakob Chychrun and a 1st round pick in exchange for Linus Ullmark.

However, if Linus Ullmark is sent to the Senators, the Bruins should ask for the entire cupboard and more.

They should ask for not only a 1st round pick, but the future Brad Marchand in Brady Tkachuk attached.

Not only would this be a big coup, but should Don Sweeny swindle Steve Staios this would solve an issue with the Bruins' top-six which leaves much to be desired lately.

For now, the rumors are just rumors, but we can always ask for what we want.
