According to David Pagnotta of the Fourth Period, it appears that Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark is prepared to waive his no trade clause to the senators even though the team is on his no trade list.

It's become a foregone conclusion that general manager Don Sweeney and the Bruins will move on from almark after Bruins starter Jeremy Swayman has taken a huge step forward in his game and will now become the new starting goaltender next year.

The Senators are a team in need of identity and one issue has plagued them all year which is goaltending. Bringing Ullmark into the organization would help stabilize the net and give the senators young core a chance to win more games and potentially land a playoff spot.

If a trade were to occur between both teams, it will likely happen at the draft as draft picks and potentially prospects would be involved in completing the deal.

The Bruins are looking for forward help especially down the middle as they have been weakened by the losses of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci who retired last summer.

Time will tell if both teams can come to an agreement.
