One massive takeaway after the Bruins got blown out by the Winnipeg Jets 8-1 on Tuesday night.

On Tuesday night, the Boston Bruins started off their five-game West Coast trip not how they would have liked after being blown out 8-1 at Canada Life Centre to the Winnipeg Jets.

The Winnipeg Jets dominated the Boston Bruins handing them a big loss making them have a 15-12-3 record on the season now, and had their four-game win streak get snapped.

After giving the Winnipeg Jets three power play goals, things started to get pretty ugly in the third period, and the Boston Bruins would drop the gloves three times during the first 10 minutes of the third period.

Trent Frederic was the first Bruin trying to make a statement, dropping the gloves with David Gustafsson, one punching him in centre ice. While the Bruins were celebrating Frederic's win, Mark Kastelic and Logan Stanley went at it in a heavyweight tilt. Stanley got a couple body shots in on Mark Kastelic, but Kastelic would ultimately get the take down.

Both teams got the same penalties, and Mark Kastelic, and Logan Stanley both got a game misconduct for fighting after dropping the gloves once Frederic, and Gustafsson's fight had ended.

The next faceoff that took play, Nikita Zadorov made a statement by dropping the gloves with Adam Lowry, fighting at the blue line. Both players exchanged punches, but the last fight of the game ended in a no-decision.

The Boston Bruins tried to stick up for themselves and not go down without a fight, but they showed up too late. Now they will look to respond when they face the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday night at Climate Pledge Arena.
