Boston Bruins head coach Joe Sacco just issued a statement on whether or not David Pastrnak will play tonight after suffering a upper-body injury.

The Boston Bruins were getting ready to take on the Winnipeg Jets tonight, but they were unsure if they were going to have David Pastrnak in the lineup or not after missing practice yesterday with an upper-body injury.

Sacco: Pastrnak dealing with an upper-body injury. Boston is «hopeful» that he'll be good to go tomorrow. Team isn't bringing an extra skater on the trip.

Today the Bruins got a nice surprise with David Pastrnak as he was a full participant with the Boston Bruins this morning at practice.

Following practice Joe Sacco gave a update on David Pastrnak on whether or not he was going to play.

Here is what Joe Sacco had to say:

Joe Sacco on David Pastrnak ahead of tonight's #NHLBruins game vs. Winnipeg: "He'll be in the lineup tonight...he's ready to go."

The Boston Bruins are definitely a better team with David Pastrnak in the lineup, and they are hopeful that he can help them get their power play on track as they sit last in the league in power play percentage, and Joe Sacco emphasized the Bruins power play at practice this morning.

It will be interesting to see how the Bruins hold up against a good Winnipeg Jets team today.

Do you think the Boston Bruins have a better chance to win with David Pastrnak in the lineup?
