The Bruins have been struggling with their power play and today at the Bruins morning skate Joe Sacco sent a stern message to the Bruins.

Since before Joe Sacco took over as head coach by the Boston Bruins, their power play was awful, and since taking over nothing has changed.

The Bruins are sitting dead last in the league in power play percentage with 12%, and this is something the team needs to work on.

Today at practice Joe Sacco sent a stern message and emphasized the power play needs to be better.

The Boston Bruins have definitely been playing better hockey under Joe Sacco, they currently sit first in penalty kill since Sacco took over, goaltending and team play has been way better, but they need to find a way to get their power play going.

One big reason their power play has not been producing is due to David Pastrnak having a down year. If the Bruins could find a way to get Pastrnak going this could fix all their problems on the power play.

Even though the Boston Bruins are on a four game winning streak, they haven't played good teams. The four wins have come against the Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens, Detroit Red Wings, and Philadelphia Flyers. All teams that are struggling and are not in a playoff spot.

Now the Bruins are preparing to face some playoff teams, and they will need their power play to do something for them or it could make the difference between winning or losing.
