The Boston Bruins got a surprising player back at practice this morning in David Pastrnak after it was revealed yesterday he was dealing with a upper-body injury.

Yesterday David Pastrnak was unexpectedly missing from practice, and it's very unusual for him to miss practice so fans immediately thought he was dealing with an injury.

Later following practice, head coach Joe Sacco ended up revealing that David Pastrnak was missing from practice due to a upper-body injury. It's unsure when he suffered this injury.

Joe Sacco did state that David Pastrnak is day-to-day and there is a chance that he plays tonight against the Winnipeg Jets.

Here is what Joe Sacco had to say:

Coach Sacco on David Pastrnak missing Monday's practice: "He's dealing with an upper-body issue so we held him off today. He's going to be traveling with us. We're hopeful that he's ready to go tomorrow. We'll see how he presents tomorrow."

Today the Bruins had a nice surprise as David Pastrnak was on the ice for practice this morning, and signs point to him playing tonight but it's still unsure if he will dress or not.

David Pastrnak has been struggling for the Bruins this year as the former 60+ goal scorer only has nine goals, 18 assists for 28 points in 29 games for the Bruins this year along with a minus-4 rating.

The most surprising part of this is that only five points have come on the power play, with three of them being goals. Joe Sacco stated today the Bruins need to figure out their power play and if David Pastrnak can get going, this might fix their power play problems.
