A Boston Bruins insider may have just leaked when fans can expect Jeremy Swayman to sign
Jimmy Murphy is an NHL Insider who covers the Boston Bruins as part of Boston Hockey Now.
Murphy of course has access to information none of us could hope to dream of as fans, and media that isn't Boston-based.
But it appears Murphy may be dropping the sauce on a future signing, as he dropped the date for the Bruins Pre-Season Golf Tournament.
The tournament will take place on September 12th, 2024. With this post is he speculating that Jeremy Swayman could be signed by the Bruins by then?
If so, it'd be a welcome day for a signing, which is far too late as many Bruins fans have been waiting hand & foot for the team to lockdown Swayman.
Now, let's hope the term is good, as Swayman is the new #1 hopefully for the next decade.
Swayman had a 25-10-8 record, with a .253 GAA, and an .916 save percentage in 2023-2024.
