A major turn of events has surfaced for the Boston Bruins regarding Jack Edwards retirement.

Just before the playoffs started, Jack Edwards made an announcement regarding his retirement stating that after the playoffs he will no longer be the commentator for the Boston Bruins.

Jack Edwards, the voice of the Boston Bruins, has announced his retirement following the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Jack Edwards was the Boston Bruins commentator for the past 19 years, and he admitted that he has developed a speech impediment, and that is the main reason he decided to step away from the sport that he loved.

The Boston Bruins are currently looking for someone to replace Edwards, and there was a lot of speculation that Vegas Golden Knights commentator Dave Goucher might be the perfect fit to replace Jack Edwards.

Well today that rumour was cleared up as Dave Goucher stated that he will be staying with the Vegas Golden Knights.

Sounds like on local Vegas radio, Dave Goucher said he is staying in Vegas for Golden Knights games. So you can mark him off as a potential Bruins candidate

The Boston Bruins will continue their search for Jack Edwards replacement, stay tuned for further updates.
