The Boston Bruins have announced that fan favourite Mark Kastelic will not return to the game today due to an injury.

The Boston Bruins as of late can not catch a break with injuries, and they just got hit with another one.

Not too long ago, the Bruins ended up losing Andrew Peeke after taking an awkward hit from Leafs forward Max Pacioretty.

Andrew Peeke heads to the locker room after a hit from Max Pacioretty.

Then a couple games later the Bruins would end up losing their best player and defenseman this year in Hampus Lindholm after blocking a shot from Justin Faulk.

Hampus Lindholm went to the locker room shortly after blocking this shot from Justin Faulk. Looks like Lindholm took the puck off the left knee.

Now the Boston Bruins just got hit with some more terrible injury news as they have announced that fan favourite, Mark Kastelic will not return to the Bruins game today due to a lower-body injury.

UPDATE: Mark Kastelic (lower-body) will not return to today's game.

It's unsure what exactly happened as nothing obvious stood out and even Bruins insider Scott McLaughlin stated that he rewatched Kastelic's last shift before leaving and nothing stood out.

Kastelic (lower body) will not return. I rewatched his last shift and didn't see anything super obvious. Might have happened before that.

Hopefully for the Bruins this is nothing serious, but they cannot catch a break as of right now.
