Boston Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk's time with the Bruins organization may be coming to an end.

The off-season is officially here for the Boston Bruins, and they have been knocked out of the playoffs back to back years by the Florida Panthers.

One of the Bruins biggest UFA's heading into the off-season is Jake DeBrusk and the Bruins have a tough decision to make with him.

Both Don Sweeney and Jake DeBrusk's team don't seem to be close to a deal, and Sweeney stated that he took an aggressive approach with DeBrusk which might mean they are set on a price and if he doesn't want it he will walk.

«Yeah, but I understand business is business,» DeBrusk said. «I've been here for a while. I've seen lots of deals get done with guys and things, so I kind of understand what their side is and how they usually operate. So it wasn't necessarily like [I was] completely surprised, but I thought it'd be done.

«I thought that things would all work out earlier, I guess.»

DeBrusk was one of the best Bruins players during the playoffs scoring five goals and six assists in the 13 games the Bruins appeared in, he looked the most consistent.

Unless the Bruins change their mind, it seems Jake DeBrusk will be on a new team come next year.
