Boston Bruins forward rumoured to be signing with the Minnesota Wild
The Minnesota Wild have $1.5 Million in cap space left and will look to improve their forward depth.
They expect to sign someone soon before training camp starts and have some decent options left on the table.
The team recently signed Brock Faber to a blockbuster, with a long-term total of $68 million. But will need to build bottom-six depth for the season.
While the Wild are still suffering under the buyouts of Zach Parise and Ryan Suter, they have little to work with until next season.
They will need a bargain deal, for a year so they could end up signing former Bruins forward James van Riemsdyk.
Riemsdyk has a great showing on the Bruin's bottom six, scoring 38 points( 11 G, 27 A), and was signed for a steal at $1M x over 1 year with the Bruins.
He could add offensive touch, and two-way play for the Wild and save the team money all the while.
