"We're thrilled to add Loke to the team,» Head coach Gardiner MacDougall explained. «He will be a significant addition to our organization. He plays a hardnosed 2-way game, has great mobility, and will be hard to play against in all 3 zones. We believe he will have an excellent opportunity to grow his game here in Moncton and in the QMJHL, where I believe he will become a significant difference maker.»
Will Loke Johansson turn into the shut-down defenseman the Bruins need to win a Stanley Cup?
What do you think?
He possesses the tools necessary for the job. His competitive level is high, and he's an agile skater in all four directions. His speed isn't his strongest asset, particularly when it comes to initial acceleration. However, he can execute a solid first pass when not facing pressure.
