This time, the surprise isn't up his sleeve but rather on his head.
Saturday night at TD Garden marks the Bruins' second "Era Night" of the season, paying homage to "The Big Bad Bruins" of the 1970s in their showdown against the Montreal Canadiens.
Ullmark is set to don a mask paying tribute to the iconic design worn by two-time Stanley Cup winner Gerry Cheevers during his playing days.
Take a look at this masterpiece.
This isn't the first time Ullmark has unveiled a special mask on "Era Night" at TD Garden. Previously, he showcased a tribute to "The Early Years" of 1924-1959, featuring legendary Bruins like Eddie Shore, Willie O'Ree, Bobby Bauer, Woody Dumart, and Tiny Thompson, all part of the "Historic 100" list revealed by Boston prior to the season.
The Cheevers-inspired mask includes the names of some of the Bruins' most legendary players, such as Terry O'Reilly, Bobby Orr, Johnny Bucyk, Phil Esposito, and, of course, Cheevers.
Despite being relegated to the bench for the second time, as Jeremy Swayman takes the starting role for Boston, Ullmark's one-time use masks from this season will be auctioned off to benefit the Bruins Foundation.
Get ready for another visual treat as the Bruins continue their centennial celebrations in style.
