Bruins Organization Announces a Signing
The Providence Bruins, the AHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins, have made an important addition to their roster.
On Tuesday, May 29, Providence Bruins General Manager Evan Gold announced the signing of forward Owen Pederson to a two-year contract that will keep him with the team until the 2024-25 season.
Pederson, 21 years old, showcased his skills with the Winnipeg Ice in the WHL last season, appearing in 65 games. He impressed with an impressive point tally of 74, scoring 32 goals and providing 42 assists. Standing at an imposing 6-foot-3 and weighing 193 pounds, Pederson has been a consistent performer throughout his career.
Over the course of four seasons with the Ice, he accumulated an impressive 198 points in 200 games. Originally from Stony Plain, Alberta, Pederson began his WHL journey with the Kootenay Ice before moving to Winnipeg.
