Bruins insider just leaked whether the Bruins are going to trade Trent Frederic or not
The Boston Bruins rumor mill is churning, as the interest continues to peak in winger Trent Frederic.
While Frederic was said not to be shopped by the Bruins, a statement by Elliotte Friedman could suggest otherwise.
As the depth scoring forward, who provides a gritty presence in the B's lineup could be a useful piece in any contending team's roster according to Elliotte Friedman.
The question they continue to ask is if the Bruins will make an effort to sign the winger. Frederic is in year 2 of his $2.3 Million deal, which expires at the end of the season.
If GM Don Sweeney fails to capitalize on a deal with the forward who thrived under Coach Jim Montgomery, scoring 40 points( 18 G, 22 A) could the Bruins move him?
Frederic would provide a meaningful presence on teams who believe themselves to be playoff contenders. There were reports earlier in the year, that the Colorado Avalanche were one of many teams who were interested in him.

With a new head coach, could this be the start of a re-tool for the Boston Bruins who are 14-11-3, 3rd in the Atlantic Division, and could use some meaningful scoring depth.
They currently have a -13 goal differential in the Atlantic Division and somehow manage to hold onto a top spot, but they can absolutely improve if Don Sweeney manages talent correctly.
