Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak has spoken out and addressed the latest rumours regarding him falling to online identity theft.

There was a post that was made to Facebook yesterday from an account that many believed was David Pastrnak himself.

In the post "David Pastrnak" went on to speak about a injury that he suffered during the off-season and how that affected him during the off-season mentally.

Even though it was never revealed what the injury was, "Pastrnak" stated that it was hard mentally because he wasn't able to do anything for about a month and a half due to this injury, where he normally is preparing for the upcoming season.

Well today following practice David Pastrnak was asked about this post that was posted to Facebook, and Pastrank revealed he knew nothing about it.

Pastrnak stated that the Facebook account is not him, and he did not make this post.

David Pastrnak tells me that Facebook account posting as him is not his. «What did I wake up to this morning?!» 😂

He also went on to talk about the Czech interview he did, and stated that it was taken out of context.

Pastrnak also says the Czech interview was taken somewhat out of context, and that the answer he gave was more about how his summer went. He says he does not currently feel any limitations physically, and that he felt pretty good as camp went on.

Do you think David Pastrnak could be struggling from the injury he suffered during the off-season?
