Bruins Three New Jerseys Get Leaked Before Reveal
Just an hour before their official unveiling, the Boston Bruins' three new uniforms for their centennial season made an unexpected appearance online.
Icethetics, a well-known source for hockey uniform news, shared images of the Bruins' home, away, and alternate jerseys that had been leaked on the Adidas website earlier today.
The fresh home and away jerseys are rather simple compared to previous designs. They've replaced the usual yellow with a sparkling gold effect. The home jersey is primarily black, while the away jersey is white. Both feature gold, black, and white stripes on the sleeves and bottom of the sweater.
Turning to the Bruins' alternate jersey, it's a throwback to their roots, just as many had anticipated.
Although it's a bit challenging to discern in the leaked images, the primary color is expected to be cream or off-white, with yellow and brown striping.
The front sports a spoked-B logo in yellow and brown, with the year 1924 inside it, signifying the year of the Bruins' founding. Boston's alternate jersey is slated to be worn during games against Original Six teams throughout the 2023-24 season.
Following the 2023-24 season, the Bruins will return to their traditional home and away uniforms.
