Former Bruin Nick Foligno issued a statement involving the Boston Bruins
Nick Foligno recounts his time with the Boston Bruins, and the the NHL playoffs against the Florida Panthers.
Of course, it was the President's Trophy-winning season in 2022-2023, and on Dropping The Gloves with John Scott he felt the team had an embarrassment of riches.
With two great goalies, superstars such as Bergeron and Krejci, there was too many good players sitting out which led to confusion against the Panthers.
Foligno felt having too many options for Montgomery led to the team losing their "Mojo" in the series. Monty was overthinking according to Foligno.
Even then, the Bruins' record was 65-12-5 and finished the season with 135 points in 2022-2023.
