Major News Strikes The Boston Bruins Following Announcement
After the NHL All-Star Break, the Boston Bruins welcomed back forwards Jake DeBrusk and Matthew Poitras, along with defenseman Derek Forbort, to the practice ice.
All three players were late injury scratches before the Bruins' victorious 6-2 game against the Philadelphia Flyers, making their return a pleasant surprise for the team.
Head coach Jim Montgomery had provided uncertain updates before the break, particularly about DeBrusk, who has recently expressed his desire for a contract extension with the Bruins.
Despite the uncertainty, DeBrusk's recent stellar performance has been noteworthy, earning praise from Coach Montgomery. The return of Poitras and Forbort adds depth and resilience to the Bruins' lineup.
