Brad Marchand and Charlie Coyle are both missing from the Boston Bruins practice and the reason for both was just revealed.

The Boston Bruins are holding their first practice this morning since they cancelled their last one on November 1st.

The reason they ended up canceling their practice on the 1st was due to the fact that they were gearing up for 3 games in four days, in three different cities, and the Bruins felt that resting their legs would be better then holding a practice.

Word is Bruins practice was banged because they're playing three games in four days in three different cities and it was felt rested legs would be more productive than a practice. Not a shock, though the alarm is understandable in these times

This ended up panning out for the Boston Bruins as they went on to shutout both the Kraken and Flyers in back-to-back games.

Now they are holding their first practice since the 1st, and Brad Marchand and Charlie Coyle were both absent, and we now know why.

Jim Montgomery revealed that Both Brad Marchand and Charlie Coyle are just out for maintenance.

Montgomery: Maintenance days for Brad Marchand and Charlie Coyle.

As Brad Marchand is aging, the Boston Bruins are trying to manage the workload he has to go under, and Montgomery stated earlier in the year that he may miss practice here and there due to this.

The Boston Bruins are gearing up to take on the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday and will look to win their third game in a row for the first time this year.
