The Toronto Maple Leafs have made some big changes already, firing Sheldon Keefe and replacing him with Craig Berube.
Changes aren't done for the Leafs, as multiple rumours suggest that the core will be split up this year, but also it seems like changes to the coaching staff may not be done as well, as recent reports have suggested the Leafs are looking at former Calgary Flames coach.
The Leafs power player was their problem in the playoffs, and that's no secret, they are looking for ways to change that when it comes to the playoffs and no better way of doing that then adding one of the best playmakers of an era in Marc Savard.
Just a couple days ago, it was confirmed that the Calgary Flames and Marc Savard have parted ways with each other. Ever since then he has been linked to join Craig Berube with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
If the Leafs do sign Savard as an assistant coach, it will be interesting to see if this fixes their problems come the playoffs or if the players just have problems executing come the playoffs.
