The Boston Bruins had two unexpected players return to practice this morning and it's big news for the team.

The Boston Bruins have not had luck on their side so far this season, and have been dealing with a bunch of injuries to start the 2024-25 season.

Just 19 games into the season, the Boston Bruins are currently without Andrew Peeke, Hampus Lindholm, Mark Kastelic, and Tyler Johnson who left the team due to a family matter.

This morning the Bruins got two unexpected players back at practice after an announcement.

Tyler Johnson who Jim Montgomery yesterday stated would return to practice is indeed back with the team.

Johnson was supposed to play in the Bruins game against the Dallas Stars, but last minute Montgomery announced that he was leaving the team to go be with his family as something came up.

Montgomery just told the media in Dallas that Tyler Johnson had to go back home to deal with a family issue so it was not coach's decision he did not play

Montgomery would not reveal the reasoning behind it, but Tyler Johnson is officially back with the Boston Bruins.

Don't see Marchand, Kastelic or Tufte. Tyler Johnson is indeed back

The Boston Bruins also got another player back since being sidelined in a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Andrew Peeke has missed the Bruins last 5 games after leaving the Bruins last game against the Leafs.

Peeke took an awkward hit from Leafs forward Max Pacioretty which would result in him leaving the game.

Today, Andrew Peeke was back with the Boston Bruins at practice wearing a full contact jersey, indicating he should be good to return to the Bruins lineup for their game against the Blue Jackets tomorrow.

Andrew Peeke is in a regular jersey at Bruins practice today. Tyler Johnson is back. Georgii Merkulov is still here. Riley Tufte is not.
