With just four games remaining until the postseason, the Boston Bruins have several situations to play out regarding injuries, as the team provided crucial updates on key players on Friday.

A Much Anticipated Return Before the Playoffs?

Boston is currently without Taylor Hall, Nick Foligno, Derek Forbort, David Krejci, along with Charlie McAvoy suffering an injury scare on Thursday. Earlier this morning, head coach Jim Montgomery shared big updates on at least three of his players.

''David Krejci is very doubtful for the weekend, per Jim Montgomery. Charlie McAvoy is day-to-day. Taylor Hall could possibly play this weekend.''

Krejci has missed the Bruins' last two games with what's considered as a lower-body injury. While Hall last played on February 25th against the Vancouver Canucks, and has been on LTIR for the past 20 games. The 31-year-old has 16 goals and 20 assists in 58 games this season.

Getting the 2019 Hart Trophy winger back in the lineup prior to the playoffs could be a priority for the team now, as he hasn't skated with new linemate Tyler Bertuzzi before.

Boston is back in action Saturday evening when the New Jersey Devils visit TD Garden.
