The BostonBruins got a big overtime win last night which locked them into at worst third place in the MassMutual East Division.
Boston plays their final game tonight against the WashingtonCapitals who will be their first round playoff opponent.
Unfortunately it doesn't look like they'll be bringing along one of their forwards.
OndrejKase returned to the lineup for the first time in four months and wasn't able to finish the game and it's looking like his 2021 season is done after a total of 3 games played.
"He couldn't finish the game, so that's never a good sign," Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy said. "Obviously, we'll have a better feel in the morning. We're kind of packing up, off to Washington tonight, so I'm sure we'll chat on the plane, see where he's at, but we won't know much tomorrow.
"I don't believe he'll play tomorrow or travel with us if he couldn't finish the game. But again, I haven't been in the medical room since the end of the second period, so I'll get an update. If not, then I'll know more tomorrow."
It's been labeled as "upper body" for now and with Kase's concussion history that's never a good thing.
