Boston Bruins sign defenseman to entry-level contract

Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney announced today that the club has signed defenseman Kai Wissmann to a one-year entry-level contract, starting in the 2022-23 season, and it carries an annual NHL cap hit of $825,000.
The 25-year-old from Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany, has spent the last six seasons with Eisbären Berlin of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). This past season he recorded 4 goals and 16 assists in 55 games played.
The 6'4", 207 lb defenseman also represented his country at the 2022 IIHF World Championships, where he collected 2 goals and 5 assists for 7 points in 8 games.
