BREAKING Chris Kelly Is Back With The Bruins!

The Boston Bruins announced a new hire on Thursday and it involves bringing back a fan favorite.�

General manager Don Sweeney announced that the team has hired Chris Kelly as Player Development Coordinator.�

Kelly held the role with the Ottawa Senators last year and now comes back to the organization he won the Stanley Cup with in 2011.�

Kelly played 14 seasons in the NHL in total which included 288 games with the Bruins where he scored 43 goals and 101 points. The forward registered five goals and eight assists in 25 games during the Bruins' 2011 Cup run.�

He also played for the Ottawa Senators where he helped lead the team to an appearance in the 2007 Stanley Cup Finals where they lost. He's won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2017�Spengler Cup and was captain of Team Canada at the 2018 Olympics where Canada won the bronze medal.�
