As we all know, Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm took a massive hit from Carolina Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov in the second period of game two of their best-of-seven series.
Lindholm was forced out of the game and appeared very dazed and wobbly as he was helped off the ice and did not return. He also did not dress for game three as he is listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Ty Anderson, writer for 98.5 "The Sports Hub" and co-host of the Sports Hub Underground Podcast, reported prior to game three at TD Garden that Hampus Lindholm was in the building.
Here's the positive news he shared:
"Good news, I just saw Hampus Lindholm walking around up here on nine. He seemed to be in good spirits. Not sure this noise factory is where he'd be if the symptoms were brutal."
Fluto Shinzawa who is the beat writer for the Boston Bruins of The Athletic reported earlier this afternoon that Bruce Cassidy also gave an update on Lindholm's status:
