Huge announcement on Wednesday.
Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy told reporters that the team expects Tuukka Rask to start on Thursday.
There's been plenty of speculation regarding his situation at the moment and he recently started hanging around the team again which was a good sign.
Jaroslav Halak remains on the COVID list so youngsters JeremySwayman and Dan Vladar were thrown into the fire. While they might have looked shakey at times, they definitely showed promise for the Bruins in the future.
The B's will be more than happy to have Rask back though.
Rask injured his back during the dying moments of the B's March 7th game against the NewJersey Devils, he tried to come back on March 25th against the New YorkIslanders but only played for one period.
The 34 year old has a 8-4-2 record on the season along with a 2.40 goals against average and .907 save percentage.
