The Colorado Avalanche are the first team to punch their ticket to the Stanley Cup Final with a 5-4 overtime win in game four and a sweep of the Edmonton Oilers.

It didn't come without its controversy, though. Artturi Lehkonen scored the game and series winner on this play:

The play was reviewed by the referees for a high stick and still deemed a good hockey goal.

The only problem is one rule. If the puck goes straight in from the tip from Lehkonen, it must be below the crossbar.

But, since Mike Smith stopped the initial deflection, the play should be called dead if the puck was touched above Lehkonen's shoulders. So, the question is, was the puck touched above his shoulders or not?

Either way you see it, good goal or not, the Avalanche simply outmatched the Edmonton Oilers in this series.

Now they await their opponent, who will be the New York Rangers or the Tampa Bay Lightning.
