The Buffalo Sabres have been a very bad team for about the last 10 to 12 seasons. The club hasn't made the Stanley Cup playoffs since the 2010-11 season to be exact and going even further, the Sabres have only won five playoff games dating back to 2007.
@puckempire shared a very interesting statistic regarding how bad the Sabres have been recently:
''Only 9 active NHL players have played against the #Sabres in the postseason.
Zdeno Chara -- 45 Jeff Carter -- 37 Patrice Bergeron -- 36 Andrew Ladd - 36 Blake Wheeler -- 35 Claude Giroux -- 34 Milan Lucic -- 34 James van Riemsdyk -- 33 Sergei Bobrovsky -- 33
There were 964 players that played in the NHL this season.''
