Former NHL scout and coach passed away at the age of 46

Reports have surfaced from Adrian Dater that a scout and coach who worked for several NHL organizations has passed away at 46.
Scott Masters was the Colorado Avalanche video coach and had spent time as a scout for other organizations including the Montreal Canadiens. His tenure with the Canadiens ran for seven seasons from 2013 through 2019.
He also worked for the Florida Panthers and the St Louis Blues. It was recently revealed during the podcast that he felt that Doug Armstrong was his biggest influence and that the Saint Louis Blues president help shape his career.
