The Boston Bruins were on the road visiting the Ottawa Senators last night, and the scoring started early, and they came often.

The Senators found themselves up 2-0 just 3:09 into the game, and with a Patrice Bergeron goal late in the first, the Bruins found themselves down 3-1 after one. The B's followed Ottawa's lead from the first with two goals in 1:30 to open the second and tie the game at 3-3.

Both teams would keep scoring in bunches as the Senators came away with a 7-5 win in their home opener.

3 STARS:

⭐️⭐️⭐️: Patrice Bergeron - 1G, 2A, +1, 7 SOG, 16:05 TOI
⭐️⭐️: Tim Stutzle - 1G, 2A, +2, 1 SOG, 18:07 TOI
⭐️: Brady Tkachuk - 1G, 2A, +2, 4 SOG, 17:33 TOI

With his third of the season, captain Patrice Bergeron recorded the 403rd goal of his career, which put him ahead of Rick Middleton and in sole possession of third place on the all-time franchise goals leaderboard.

The Bruins fall to 3-1-0 on the season and are back in action Thursday when the Anaheim Ducks visit TD Garden.
