One night after Ryan Reaves of the Wild threw the hit of the year on Filip Hronek of the Red Wings, Jarred Tinordi has now made his case!
The Blackhawks defenseman stepped up on Golden Knights forward Paul Cotter last night in Chicago and caught him with a massive open-ice hit! Unlike Reaves, however, this one has zero head contact or controversy. Check it out:
Tinordi (6'6'', 230 lbs) and Cotter (6'2'', 215 lbs) combined for one of the larger collisions of the season. The Vegas forward clearly got the worst of it, as he was forced to leave with an injury and did not return.
