Katie Gaudreau honours Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau in a special way before her wedding
The sister of Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau, Katie just honoured her brothers in a touching way after their passing.
The day before Katie Gaudreau was supposed to get married, her and her family received tragic news that her brothers Matthew, and Johnny Gaudreau had passed away.
Her and her husband, Devin Joyce canceled their wedding due to this. Johnny and Matthew were supposed to be ring carriers for her during her most special day ever.
Although they won't be able to be ring carriers for her now, Katie made sure that they would both be with her on the day of her wedding by getting the initials M and J engraved onto her wedding ring.
This will not be the same as having them there for her on her most special day, but this is a touching way to honour both of her brothers.
The hockey community has rallied behind the Gaudreau family during this tough time, and our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with them.
