It appears that NHL hockey is now in full force!
Just like several times you see during the regular season, the Department of Player Safety already has its hands full after an incident in last night's preseason matchup between the Seattle Kraken and Edmonton Oilers.
Jacob Melanson of the Kraken caught Oilers forward James Hamblin with a late hit to the blindside. The dangerous hit led to a match penalty and ejection for the 19-year-old Melanson, and luckily, Hamblin is reported to be okay after the hit.
