Boston is back on home ice tonight after a successful road trip during which they won five of six games. The B's are buzzing these days and sit just two points shy of the Toronto Maple Leafs for third place in the Atlantic Division.
Boston faced off against L.A. in its latest road trip, skating to a dominating 7-0 win exactly one week ago. Jake Debrusk scored a hat trick as part of a four-point game that night, while Trent Frederic took care of the Kings so-called tough guy.
Despite his recent hot streak, Jeremy Swayman will get the night off, the Bruins instead turning to Linus Ullmark between the pipes. As of noon ET, there was still no annoucement made as to who'll be backstopping the Kings.
As per this morning's practice, there were no line changes to note for Bruce Cassidy's troops :
Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron- Jake Debrusk
Taylor Hall - Erik Haula - David Pastrnak
Trent Frederic - Charlie Coyle - Craig Smith
Nick Foligno - Tomas Nosek - Curtis Lazar
Mike Reilly - Charlie McAvoy
Matthew Grzelcyk - Brandon Carlo
Derek Forbort - Connor Clifton
Linus Ullmark
Jeremy Swayman
Grzelcyk left practice early and will be a game-time decision tonight. If he can't go, 24-year-old Jack Ahcan would suit up in his fourth game of the season.
Puck drop for tonight's Bruins-Kings matchup is set for 7 p.m. ET.
