Milan Lucic reflects on his time as Bruin after his trip back to Boston

Originally selected in the second round (50th overall) by the Boston Bruins at the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Milan Lucic made only his seventh trip to TD Garden as a member of the opposition.
But what was the first thing Lucic did in his lone trip back to Boston for this season? He stopped in at Boston Barber & Tattoo Co. for a trim and fade.
''Funny story with that. He started his business in '08, during my rookie year.''
''It's great to see him having success as well.''
''That's one of the great things about coming back is feeling love from the people. I basically spent all my 20s here, so I became an adult in this city. Reconnecting with the people of this city is a special thing.''
Looch spent his first eight seasons in Boston, appearing in 566 games and recording 139 goals and 203 assists. Including 61 points in 96 postseason games, and was a crucial piece in the Bruins' 2011 Stanley Cup championship.
''It's one of those sports towns that you can't really explain unless you're in it.''
''They live and die by it, so whether it's the Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots, they have your back 100% and if the team's rolling, then the city and fans are rolling with you. The fans are a big reason of what makes this place so hard to play in. I think it's a reason why (the Bruins) have gotten off to such a good start as well.''
Lucic also noted that his wife, Brittany, along with two of his three children who were born in Boston, hasn't been back since he was traded in 2015. Most notably his oldest daughter Valentina, who was just one and a half years old at the time.
''Showed them where they were born and where they used to live. Just walking around town and showing her [Valentina] where we used to go, where we used to take her, it was a lot of fun to do.''
