Boston Bruins anthem singer Todd Angilly is not only a talented vocalist but also a very good guy.
Philadelphia Flyers forward Kevin Hayes shared a video on his Instagram of Todd Angilly singing the "The Star-Spangled Banner" for his nephew, Beau Hayes, prior to his mini stick game in his basement. Beau is the son of Kevin's brother Jimmy Hayes, a former NHL player who tragically passed away at the age of 31 on August 23rd, 2021.
The Hayes brothers are from Boston, and Jimmy played for the Bruins from 2015 to 2017. In 133 games, Jimmy collected 15 goals and 19 assists with his hometown team.
Here's the video:
Such a wholesome moment and a great experience for little Beau Hayes. Pretty cool for both Kevin Hayes and Todd Angilly to do this for the little guy, who is obviously already obsessed with hockey.
