Boston Bruins fans are very familiar with Milan Lucic and what kind of game he brings to the ice every night. Looch spent eight seasons with the Bruins from 2007 to 2015, playing 566 games and racking up 772 penalty minutes in the process. He also had three 20-plus goal and 50-plus point seasons.
Lucic is now with the Calgary Flames out west, but he hasn't let age change the way he plays the game. Near the end of the first period, he dropped the gloves with fellow heavy-weight Mark Borowiecki of the Nashville Predators.
The fight wasn't enough for the big man on the night, though. With just over two minutes remaining in the third period, and the Flames down a goal, Lucic threw a massive hit on Predators' star Matt Duchene:
Calgary would end up tying the game with a buzzer-beater and eventually won the game in overtime. Currently, as the standings are, there is a very good chance that the Predators and the Flames will meet in the first round of the playoffs, with some bad blood already on the ice.
