The New York Islanders are hosting the Carolina Hurricanes for a Sunday matinee.
Zdeno Chara was the Boston Bruins' captain for all 14 seasons that he wore the spoked B but left the club in free agency at the beginning of the summer of 2020. He signed with Washington Capitals for one year and then with the team he was drafted by, the New York Islanders, for this season.
The 45-year-old is the biggest player to ever play in the NHL. Standing at 6 foot 9 inches and weighing in at 250 pounds, there aren't many players who enjoy taking on "Big Z."
