Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney has made very many moves this offseason due to the team being strapped to the cap. Besides signing Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci to one-year deals, one significant move stands out.

Acquiring forward Pavel Zacha from the New Jersey Devils on July 13th in exchange for Erik Haula. In turn, the Bruins and the RFA Zacha settled on a one-year, $3.5 million extension to avoid arbitration.

This Monday, the team began the captains practises with several, but not all, Bruins players in attendance. Zacha has been on the ice twice now with his new teammates, and judging by their comments; they're very excited to have him in Boston.

Bergeron on Zacha:

''He plays the game the right way. He's well-positioned. I think he's got a great shot. And even from talking to him, I think he wants to become a bit of a shoot-first mentality a little bit more than what he's had in the past.''

Jake Debrusk on Zacha (could be his new linemates):

''I think he dipsey-doodled me last year and made a 360 pass to someone backdoor. That was a lovely dash.''

Zacha hasn't played a game yet, but after just two skates, his Bruins teammates seem to really like him. Hopefully, it's a good sign of what's to come for the new guy in Boston!
