The Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens met last night in preseason matchup. The Senators would end with a 4-3 win, but it didn't come without it's controversy.
After the game, head coach DJ Smith was not pleased with how the Canadiens were going after his players.
Though he didn't mention any specific names, his comments appeared to be directed towards defenseman, Arber Xhekaj. The defenseman played extremely physical in last night's game, along with dropping the gloves against veteran Austin Watson.
''We don't like that the other team is targeting our guys. We'll be ready the next game''
Smith commented that the team would be well prepared for the rematch when the two clubs meet in New Brunswick on Saturday.
