The Florida Panthers had the NHL's highest scoring offence this season.

But in the playoffs, the Cats have cooled off a little bit and have forced the coaching staff to make some interesting roster decisions.

The most notable one was when Florida Head Coach Andrew Brunette decided to make Anthony Duclair a healthy scratch prior to the team's series clinching game against the Washington Capitals in the opening round.

Duclair had racked up two assists while averaging just over 12 minutes of ice time up to that point. Not the stats you'd expect from Florida's all-star, but nothing that would suggest he deserved to sit out a game.

But Duclair didn't let that disappointment get in the way of his Cup dreams. He was inserted back into Florida's lineup for Game 1 against the Tampa Bay Lightning last night, and made his impact felt instantly.

«Duke» scored the very first goal of the second round thanks to this beauty, the first playoff tally of his career:

After posting 31 goals and 58 points in the regular season, Duclair is now up to three points in six postseason games.
