A member of the Penguins may be facing a suspension after a questionable hit on Cale Makar Tuesday night.
The Colorado Avalanche were visiting Pittsburgh last night when veteran Jeff Carter caught the young defenseman with a high blindside hit in the third period. The unsuspecting blow sent Makar to the ice immediately, but none of the on-ice officials made a call.

No word yet, but it's very likely the NHL's Department of Player Safety will take a look at this play. Makar was forced to leave the game and undergo concussion testing but was able to return to the game.
