The Boston Bruins host the New Jersey Devils tonight at TD Garden for their final game of the 2022 preseason. The Bs are currently 3-2-0 through their first five exhibition games, losing 1-0 to the Devils the last time they met each other on October 3rd.

Based on morning line rushes, expect Boston's lines to look as such:

Jake Debrusk - Patrice Bergeron - Craig Smith
Pavel Zacha - David Krejci - David Pastrnak
Trent Frederic - Jack Studnicka - A.J. Greer
Nick Foligno - Tomas Nosek - Jakub Lauko

Hampus Lindholm - Mike Reilly
Jakub Zboril - Brandon Carlo
Derek Forbort - Connor Clifton

Linus Ullmark
Jeremy Swayman

(Ullmark is expected to play the full 60 minutes).

Jim Montgomery on Smith getting a shot alongside Bergeron and DeBrusk on the top line:

''I think the way [Smith] plays with speed, and he's tenacious on pucks - Patrice Bergeron is a really talented grinder. He likes to work. He needs workers with him.''

''[Smith] fits well. Obviously, it's just a placeholder until 63 [Brad Marchand] is back, as we all know.''

- Charlie Coyle is not in tonight's lineup for precautionary reasons and is expected to be ready for the season opener Wednesday night in Washington.
- Anton Stralman and Chris Wagner are healthy scratches, while Taylor Hall and Matt Grzelcyk remain out with injuries.
