A new report has Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane linked to yet another legal case involving millions of dollars.

The Superior Court of California in Santa Monica set a hearing date for ''Jane Doe'' v.s. Evander Kane for February 3rd, 2023. Both the NHL nor the Edmonton Oilers have released a statement on the case.

Jane Doe filed the case due to Kane allegedly breaching an oral contract, fraud, misrepresentation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, promissory estoppel, and quantum meruit.

Jane Doe is one of the women that Kane had relations with during 2016 and 2017 when he was still with the San Jose Sharks and his long-term girlfriend.

Kane reportedly forced her into three abortions, which caused her significant physical and mental harm. During the third pregnancy, Kane offered $1 million dollars for the abortion, but she refused. Kane then offered $3 million to terminate the pregnancy, but after the unborn child was aborted, Kane did not pay up.

Now, Jane Doe is requesting $6 million in damages and child support. Kane recently signed a four-year deal with the Oilers worth almost $21 million.
