The "Battle of Florida" is starting to get rough.
The Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning are in the midst of a tough game two matchup in their second-round series. Both Florida teams have become two of the best in the NHL over the past few years, which is great for hockey because of their small markets for the game.
Panthers' defenseman Radko Gudas got things going early with a massive hit on Lightning defenseman Erik Cernak. Gudas is 6'0" and 208 lbs, while Cernak is 6'3" and 225 lbs. The two big guys collided hard as Gudas threw his entire body at Cernak.
