The Chicago Blackhawks are in full rebuild mode and have traded young stars in Alex DeBrincat and Kirby Dach.
However, it appears that the Blackhawks have tried to somewhat replace both Dach and DeBrincat with two other younger forwards.
Scott Powers of The Athletic was the first to report:
Max Domi will be moving onto his fifth team, going into just his eighth season. He's recorded 101 goals and 213 assists in 501 games.
Andreas Athanasiou has also moved around a bit in his career, as the Blackhawks will be his fourth team going into his eighth season. After a breakout 30-goal season with the Red Wings in 2018-19, Athanasiou has scored only 32 goals in the last three seasons.
