After the Bruins acquired Dmitry Orlov and Garnet Hathaway from the Capitals, it was reported that Boston wasn't going to be done with just the one move.

And the newest rumours from Friday morning add to that, as two players - one of which has been heavily shopped - for Providence of the AHL will be healthy scratched tonight. Most likely for 'trade related'' reasons as they call it now.

As per Mark Allred of Black N' Gold Hockey:

'Hearing the AHL Providence Bruins will be without the services of defenseman Mike Reilly and forward Jakub Lauko.
Both will be healthy scratches vs. the visiting Charlotte Checkers tonight at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.''

It's no shocker that Don Sweeney is still trying to facilitate a trade for Reilly, who really does belong in an NHL top six defensive unit. The 29-year-old has 18 points in 25 AHL games this season.

Lauko, on the other hand, is a bit surprising but is the kind of prospect the Bruins will have to be willing to give up. He has 15 points in 32 AHL games, along with 1 goal and 2 assists in 11 NHL contests.
