SHOCKING: Flames defenseman struck by vehicle Wednesday night

The Calgary Flames released shocking news this morning, as one of their defensemen was involved in a scary accident on Wednesday night.
According to the Flames' Twitter, Rasmus Andersson was struck by a vehicle while riding his scooter on the way to dinner in Detroit.
After going through tests at a local hospital, he was released and is doing well. The club released the following statement:
''At approximately 6:00 p.m. ET, Wednesday, February 8 in Detroit, MI, while riding a scooter on his way to dinner, Flames defenceman Rasmus Andersson was struck by a vehicle. Andersson was taken to local hospital for a full battery of tests before being released last night.''
Andersson, 26, is currently listed as day-to-day with an undisclosed injury until he's able to return to the ice. He currently has 7 goals and 27 assists in 51 games for Calgary this season.
